In the summer of 1967 Otis Redding played the Fillmore in San Francisco, and stayed out on a houseboat in Sausalito, where he was inspired to write the lyrics to the now-classic Sittin' on the Dock of the Bay. 45 summers later, inspired by the beauty of the same location, a retired ballerina dusted off her old pointe shoes and turned the railing of a pier into a ballet barre:
