"Nip and tuck" those turns!

Ikolo Griffin – formerly of SF Ballet, Dance Theatre of Harlem, the Joffrey Ballet, and Smuin Ballet – will be teaching an intensive Turns workshop starting Feb 11th at StageDor in Sausalito: the perfect way to find your best, most constant turning style and improve your turning mechanics. For four consecutive Mondays, he will conduct a 2-hour ballet class, the second hour of which will focus on breaking down every part of turning technique – training spot, balance, force control, and placement of arms, legs and core strength from the barre to the center.

Learn pirouette Fundamentals that are simple, dynamic, and easy to understand. Increase your confidence and ability in all kinds of turns.

When: Monday Feb 11, 18, 25 & March 4: 6:30 – 8:30 pm

Where: StageDor, #340, 10 Liberty Ship Way, Sausalito

Who: Advanced beginner/ intermediate/ advanced students with ballet, jazz or modern dance backgrounds
